Role Summary

Our internship and co-op program provides students with direct access to industry professionals who will aid in their career development. Students will learn valuable technical skills while working directly with experienced Cosma engineers and designers. Gain an understanding of all aspects of the design and manufacturing process, from concept to production, with potential for full-time employment following graduation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain knowledge of processing in CAD and Teamcenter
  • Gain knowledge of working with master data files within a PLM system
  • Generate Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) and Configurable Bill of Materials (CBOM) from math data
  • Support teams during design review meetings
  • Generate drawings from math models
  • Gain exposure to applying basic General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to 2D drawings
  • Create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for design group needs
  • Learn basic operations within Teamcenter and understand a CDR data transfers

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a program relating to CAD with a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • General knowledge/exposure to CAD tools such as Catia V5 or UGNX

Preferred:

  • Experience in 3D modeling and surface modeling
  • Experience in creation of 2D drawings for part and assembly

This is a long-term internship or co-op opportunity; Both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
