About the Role

In his role, the Process Engineer is responsible for the optimization and improvement of the efficiency of Magna Seating Tanger's manufacturing and industrial processes. He/she ensures the smooth functioning of production lines, develop new techniques, modify existing designs and coordinates process improvement projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Evaluate workflows, identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality. 
  • Conduct process audits and develop standard operating procedures.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles in acordance with Magna's Operational Improvement & Lean Manufacturing system (MAFACT)
  • Analyzing and proposing ways to extend the lifespan of machines (optimization) with cost minimization.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree / Engineering degree in industrialization engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position in automotive industry
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies and ability to analyse data
  • Proven know-how in process design improvements expertise
  • Sold knowledge of automotive standard requirements (IATF 16949)
  • Fluent in English

Your preferred qualifications

  • Proven Know how in manufacturing process in TRIM for automotive industry
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
