What you can expact

  • Definition of the functional and technical safety concept with focus on electric drives (e.g. torque safety concept, HV safety, ...) for ASIL C/ASIL D projects
  • Coordination of the safety concept with customers and suppliers
  • Analysis and evaluation of customer safety requirements
  • Specification of functional and technical safety requirements with focus on electric drives
  • Support in product design on System, Hardware and Software level from a functional safety perspective for ASIL C/ASIL D projects 
  • Execute and support of safety analyses on system, subsystem, Hardware and Software level (e.g. FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA)
  • Support of tolerance analyses of the monitoring concept at system level (e.g. torque monitoring, HV monitoring)
  • Participation in and support of internal/external assessments and audits for ASIL C/ASIL D projects
  • Participation in change and concern control meetings for the purpose of assessing and planning defects and changes
  • Support of key processes such as purchasing, quality in production and maintenance planning with focus on functional safety of the product

What you bring along

  • Profound technical education TU/FH (mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar)
  • Communication skills in dealing with colleagues within the specialist group, other specialist departments and customers
  • Knowledge of functional safety for applications in the field of electric drives (or sound knowledge of the functioning of electric drives)
  • Experience with electric drive systems and their architecture
  • Experience with requirements according to ISO 26262 and ISO 15504 (SPICE) 
  • Ideally, relevant professional experience in the automotive environment or in the field of drive technology.
  • Conflict resolution skills, ability to work under pressure, analytical thinking, team player
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken

In addition to all the benefits mentioned, it is important to us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least € 58.000 (p.a.) for this position. The actual salary will then be determined depending on your education and qualifications as well as your relevant work experience.
