Role Summary

•    Mandate to provide leadership in the region
•    Manage the global MES services and activities in the region 
•    Coordinate all parties in projects (internal and external) to be successful
•    Support MGIT hire and training processes in region
•    Manage all MES regional team members in support and project activities.
•    Support sales and marketing for MES services in region
•    Maintain operational MES domain knowledge in region and collaborate globally
•    Roll-out and develop global standards, processes and methodology
•    Execute and enforce audits against Magna Global IT Standards

Key Responsibilities

•    Manage MES services in alignment with the global MES strategy
•    Manage the design, maintenance, and development of MES methodology / processes / solutions in the region
•    Manage regional MES team through all aspects of support, project, and strategic activities.
•    Coordinate with other IT Domains in projects as well as Global IT Management and Group BRM’s
•    Manage continuous improvement of methodology, processes & services within the region
•    Track and monitor performance of processes & services within the region
•    Run MES services complaint against Magna (Global IT) policies and industry standards
•    Assess business impacts and plan for new or changed service requirements
•    Stay in close contact with Operations and BRM’s; managing business relationship in region
•    Identify opportunities, risk and constraints for IT to enhance the business
•    Management/oversight of vendors/partners in projects and services

Knowledge and Education

•    Minimum 4 yr College / University degree.

Work Experience

•    MES and ERP knowledge, with strong or acquired knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing principles
•    7 yrs related Manufacturing experience.
•    Strong Leadership, negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent communication, analytical , and problem-solving skills.
•    Skills in Planning, Project & Time management, and Project execution.
•    Works well with groups or individuals and willing to lead by example.

Work Environment

•    Ability to Travel is critical
