Manufacturing Strategy Intern - Summer 2021

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Strategy Intern will work within the Manufacturing Strategy team to help collect and analyze different metrics and lessons learned from multiple divisions. They will communicate and have visibility to many different cross functional groups within Exteriors, including but not limited to Engineering and Product Line groups. There will be strong likelihood of visiting many surrounding divisions to learn and suggest improvements to new and existing technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data
• Create templates for standards
• Ideate and develop methods for tracking future optimizations
• Import data from 3D CAD software to 2D AutoCAD

Qualifications:

• Some related experience preferred

Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Currently Attending a College or University

Special Knowledge / Skills

• Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

Physical Demands / Work Environment: 

• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
