Position Overview:

Work with Program Management Group Office Team in supporting Program Management activities. The area has a number of strategic projects underway, all aimed at supporting our divisions globally and continually improve our launches. The nature of the projects are spread between Project/Program Management initiatives and Business Systems Projects. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with highly experienced teams in Automotive Program Management, Business Systems Development area, not to mention interfacing opportunities with other key business functions. The position requires excellent communication skills, and interpersonal skills over and above the technical skills the candidate possesses.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Group Office Program Managers in supporting Program Management activities
  • Support in the upkeep of Program Management SharePoint Collaborations site
  • Develop training documents under supervision of Group office team
  • Support key projects as and when the need arises
  • Meet deliverable commitments without fail
  • Progress reporting on requested cadences

Skills Requirement

Technical

  • Required
    • MS Office
    • Excellent Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
    • Exposure to some form of Computer Programming
  • Preferred
    • Exposure to Data Analytics
    • Understanding of Project Management Concepts
    • SharePoint knowledge
    • Exposure to some Data Analytics tools (Power BI preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication, including remote work meetings.
  • Willingness to work in bigger team settings
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Willingness to provide ideas, suggestions

 

Qualifications:

  • Some related/similar experience preferred

 

Education / Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Currently Attending a College or University enrolled in a technical career, i.e. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering, etc.

 

Special Knowledge / Skills:

  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.

 

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
