System Engineer

Role Summary

Magna IT is looking for a talented System Engineer who can support our VM-Ware and Storage solutions. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in maintaining those systems, planning the transition, and ensuring the secure and reliable operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of VM-Ware and Storage technology concepts and how they apply in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support VM-ESX environment
• Maintain and support Azure VMs and Azure Storage solutions
• Support in different migration and rollout projects
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner

Knowledge and Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional related work experience

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• VMware Certifications
• Azure Certifications
• Scripting skills
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Effective English communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated technical matters to management, IT partners and the end users
