Mission of the Position


Responsible for integration of the eDrive System (electric motor, traction inverter, gearbox) into the vehicle to complete system level test and validation. Position requires high level of knowledge about electromechanical systems used in driveline systems.
The purpose of System Integration & Integration Test is to integrate the system items to produce an integrated system consistent with the system architectural design and to ensure that the system items are tested to provide evidence for compliance of the integrated system items with the system architectural design, including the interfaces between system.

Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for leading the development, integration and testing for demonstration vehicles. 
  • Lead cross-functional integration – ensuring functionality and compatibility across all vehicle systems.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple demonstration vehicle builds/verification testing simultaneously.

Requirements and Qualifications


  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
  • 5-10 years of related work experience required.
  • High level of analytical ability and understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required and vehicle controls development experience, with additional experience in system level test and validation strongly preferred.
  • Ability to spec out harnesses and do wiring diagram design for bench and vehicle testing of mechatronic components.
  • Experience in Matlab simulink, CANalyzer, and Dspace Controldesk or similar required.
  • Experience with testing of demonstration vehicles required. 
  • Experience leading cross-functional integration – ensuring functionality and compatibility across all vehicle systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multiple verification testing simultaneously preferred.

Work Environment


Office environment; up to 30% travel required.


While working in this environment, the employee will be exposed to machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes, and various levels of temperature created by manufacturing processes.
