Software Systems Solutions (3S) connects advanced electrified powertrain systems together with highly integrated vehicle functions to ensure system efficiency and improved safety and vehicle dynamics together with enhanced customer user experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and development of innovative powertrain and vehicle functions and S/W components to ensure "best class" in efficiency, dynamics, safety and comfort enabling future S/W and H/W sales
- Building up detailed models of powertrain, chassis, eergy mgt, battery, eDrive (multiphysics) 0D/1D modelling environment
- Application of advanced controls and sensor concepts as part of future vehicle S/W architectures
- S/W coding and integration of S/W components into MAGNA Operation Strategy
- Application of rapid prototype systems and model-based development methods to generate S/W codes fast, agile and usable for serial S/W codes
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree in computer engineering, electronics/electrical engineering, control and automatism engineering
- First relevant professional experience in the area of function and S/W development for automotive applications
- Controls and modelling background for vehicle and powertrain systems
- Understanding of vehicle/powertrain control functions and ability to overview complex abstraction levels
- Knowledge of Scrum methodology/foundation
- Function development tools (Matlab Simulink / CarSim / AMESim etc.; requirement management
- Reliability, determination, strength of implementation
- Very good command of written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel
