Business Development Trainee (m/f/x)

About the Role

As Business Development Trainee, you will be part of a multi-cultural business team and gain a holistic approach of the professional world of Business Development at MAGNA. During this program which will last 18 months, you will participate in different trainings and work in national and international assignments (each lasting between 3 and 6 months) within Business Development and Finance. You will be guided and supported by experienced colleagues and your own business mentor.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop the understanding in the business development teams of business process and reinforce the use of group standards (from pre-RFQ to commercial change management)
• Record, manage and check customer enquiries
• Assist in sales and capacity planning and reporting to group management
• Support in quoting activities (develop quotes and/or review quotes from divisions)
• Assist in contract negotiations
• Collect information on an ad-hoc basis and present information to Group management

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics or similar
• Willingness to learn 
• Take over responsibility
• Excellent analytic and numeracy skills
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent in English

Your preferred qualifications

First work experience through internships and/or working student positions ideally in automotive industry
