For our new division Magna Body & Chassis Hungary (location Vecses) we are looking for a welding engineer.
The Welding Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining and modifying of welding parameters for spot welding and arc welding robotic process. Adjustment of assembled parts geometry to level in required tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify welding parameters of spot-welding equipment to achieve the required quality level.
- Adjust welding assembly fixtures to gain overall part geometry parameters withing tolerances.
- Analyze statistical data from welding timers, modify parameters according to received data.
- Plan maintenance activities of welding equipment.
- Work with hand tools on line for welding fixtures adjustment.
- Teach robots correct position for achieving required result of welding.
- Teach mechatronics for adjustment of fixtures and welding parameters.
- Adjust arc welding process to receive required welding quality.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- University/College degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering
- Experience in Automotive – 3 years in similar position
- Experience with leading of maintenance team for 3 years
- Experience with adjustment of robotic spot welding or arc welding process
- Language requirements: Hungarian, English
Work Environment
- International Business Travel might be expected from time to time.

- Ensures timely, accurate and complete communication to create and maintain excellent working relations.
